About the Founder
With years of experience working as an architectural acoustic consultant and R&D engineer for a few UK audio brands (including Celestion, Monitor Audio and KEF), Harry designed EISA award-winning loudspeakers and the first THX-Dominus certified product in the UK.
With his passion and design philosophy, he ventured out and created Audio First Designs. Harry still works as a project consultant for some audio brands nowadays.

About my philosophy
I believe high-fidelity loudspeakers should be designed with proper engineering and evaluated through both measurements and long-term listening.
Measurements can only get one so far.
Any experienced designer understands that there is no such thing as a perfect objective design target. One has to listen and make design choices. Each choice always means a compromise on another aspect. At the end of the day, the priorities and compromises one prefers would contribute to the so-called "sound signature" of the products. And that... is a bit of an art.
I strive to create products that render recordings as faithfully as possible by keeping the unwanted distortion in the signal chain - be it linear or non-linear - as low as possible. Beyond that, for any unavoidable anomalies, I take the balance that I find the most enjoyable to listen to with my experience in music.
This is my way in the science and art of electroacoustic design.
